A few things that really stuck out to me:
- The NYPD doc: great and should definitely include br.Khalid Latif (I’m sure you’ve seen the recent article about him in the Christian Science Monitor). Profile-style docs can be really engaging and an incredibly powerful da’wah tool.
- Calendar holidays: You should check out GOOD magazine’s youtube channel, they have a bunch of cool educational shorts http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9PKO5WyPpg <- that one’s on the “business of death”, basically how America has made a whole industry out of death (coffins, burials, funeral florists, etc.)
- Docu-lecture: amazing if done well. When people try to make religious messages “cool” it’s mad cheesy, so it’s just important that it’s natural and not forced. But it looks like a great for da’wah to a whole new demographic of people who may no be into the regular lecture style.
- Animated Malcolm X pic: sounds like a horrible idea. What kind of animation? Will the content be directly from his Autobiography? it sounds like it will be tough to do tastefully.

I think eventually, I’ll end up producing 80% of these projects inshaAllah. Just need to train a bunch of producers and equipment with business techniques and we’re good to go!

brown-tourage is hilarious,
as is the pyramid one…

the guerilla movie, the online reference for new Muslim converts, the Sci Fi movie, and the scavenger hunt reality race are my favorites. I think those are some of the best.

- online seminar to sell

For most people cheap = Low quality

Perhaps, another word that can be used to describe the value of that project is AFFORDABLE!
