Hello, In regards to the indyslider Pro I was wondering if you mounted your plate parallel with the bottom of the slider could you then use it as a small jib arm? You only showed mounting the plate the one way so was curious as to how it would move with the tripod mounting it the other way. Thanks

Hi Bob,

Thanks for the comment, but I'm not Paul :-) - You can reach him directly here: frederickproductions (at) gmail.com

If you don't mind, I'm going to take a crack at answering your questions :-)

Yes, the grow film did use a Sony V1 (impressive ain't it?). Re the legs, head and slider - I guess its best you contact Paul regarding that.

As for the "converter lens", I believe he's using a Letus35 adapter. -- See letus35.com - for the adapter itself you can get a canon mount to be able to attach your canon lens onto it if you wish to do so. Many Indy film makers tend to go that route.

Hi Paul,

Thanks very much for this info. I must say your "Grow" film is amazing. Is that the V1? Wow.

I am using a SOny Ex1 and was wondering about a system. What would you recommend in terms of legs, head and slider? I want to use if for a range of applications from product shots to interviews to drama.

I also noticed some kind of convertor lens thing in your footage? Whats going on there? I use canon Eos still cameras and len and I recently saw the video from the 5D mark II, so that has me thinking too!

All the best
