1) Don't wait for someone to die to change your life.
2) Don't wait to be on the edge to change your perspective on the deen and your life. You may not live to tell the tale.
3) Aim high, aim high, aim high! Allahumma fir rafeequl 'alaa!

1. If you're sleeping, wake up! Or you may be in for a rude awakening.

2. Leave your legacy. What's in it for me? You're children!
(One of the three things that continues to benefit you after death is a child who makes dua for you)

3. I'll borrow one from the person above.

Amazing. It charged me with so much power to do so much more with my day, even though I'm sick and its seven o clock in the morning here!

Here are my gems:

1) If you live to die, you are alive. If you live to live, you are a dead man (or woman)

2) If you told someone from the sahabah/righteous people that they would die TONIGHT or that tomorrow would be the Day of Judgement, they would continue to live their day in the same manner they had been before; they would have nothing more to do as that is how they live every day of their life. If someone told you today that you would die by tonight, what changes would you make?

3) Imagine looking over the edge of your life - look to your Hereafter. If what you see there frightens you or if you are not content with what you see there, jump up and do something with your life as you might be falling over that edge tonight.

4) The 'ulamaa used to set the dogs out on their students if they came late... "I'm sorry I'm late" - I do this often but after this, I am committed to coming early to my appointments, may Allah help me and everyone else with this problem to do so.
