Going Global Aftermath – PIPE-lineing

Practice, Intensity, Patience and Effort lead to greatness. This is the advice that I got from Julian Starks this past weekend when I attended the Going Global Bootcamp. I like to call it PIPE-lining!
This past weekend was extremely eventful for me. If you haven’t read up on the other posts, you can do it now:
- I’m Going Back To California To Going Global Boot Camp
- Revisiting Tufaan
- VIDEO: Browntourage – Hollywoodland
The benefits I got from this trip:
- Meeting Sean Cushing – It’s his desktop wallpaper that inspired me to take a hike up Mt. Lee that very night. Made for an excellent challenge and adventure.
- Getting objective, no-holds-bar, down to earth feedback on Tufaan and the reality of what’s ahead of me during the mastermind session on Friday as well as some more inspiration on what it can become from Julian during lunch on Sunday.
- Networking with the likes of Samah Tokmachi, Carberry Twins, and Sean Cushing – who turns out that is a motion gfx producer and has worked on films such as Terminator Salvation, The Incredible Hulk, Speed Racer, Iron Man and others.
- Seeing opportunities for futher learning through more seminars and books. “Twitter Power” and “Facebook Era” to name a couple. I’ve got the rest of the year planned out when it comes to further education and finetuning: May-Year long membership to having first hand look at producing a horror movie, Jun-Seminar by Dov Simens-New York City, and Oct-Seminar on Getting Investors-Santa Monica.
- Getting to see some amazing places: Mt. Lee (standing behind the “Hollywood” sign), Sunday morning crapes, midnight chess matches and Chilling with Rasheed, Mahdi, (Baba)Ali and Hossein.
- Having another opportunity to film the second episode of “Browntourage”
On Sunday night after our chess matches — to which I was undefeated (4 wins – 1 stalemate – 0 losses) Madhi decided to do a 30min interivew which I’ve posted on MessageMastery.com – Click the image below to go there now.
On the trip, I did take the opportunity take plenty of photos. Below are just a few:

View of sunrise at JFK International Airport before pulling out for take-off on Friday.

The next morning was beautiful. The view from in front of Rasheed Moore’s (my host) home.

After the seminar I decided to take a stroll down Santa Monica Beach. Its a beautiful sight.

After seeing the beach, I could not help but get near the waves.
