Eid Mubarak Everyone!

Many of you may be aware of the LinkTV One Nation Many Voices online film contest. Some of you may even have submitted something. This post is directed toward those of you who haven’t submitted anything yet. My question to you: What is holding you back?

If you need some motivation, I suggest you read the latest post over at MessageMastery.com on Tyler Durden’s 8 Rules of Innovation.

    Peace,
Jazakallahu khair for adding “An Average Moe” to the article.
I just wanted to say that making the past couple of movies has been difficult, and the hardest part was coming out with a completed project. Nothing is perfect and there is always room for improvement, but what i found to be the best motivator is to plan a project, do the project on a fairly short timeline, and output a product even if you think it’s not amazing. So long as you put good effort into it, you can be proud you have actually completed something, and you will have more motivation to continue. And of course, the more you do, the better you’ll get :) . There are many amazing motivational phrases and Ahadith (sayings of the prophet Mohammad peace be upon him), but one of the simplest and most straight forward that i’ve found is “JUST DO IT!”.

Masha’Allah these videos are very nice! I’ve been wanting to work on something for the contest…but don’t really have a storyline. -_-

    But Alhumdulilah bro, I purchased a Canon HV30! ;)

  3. AlBaraa Says:

    Congrats on the purchase!

The “storyline” shouldn’t be so hard. — If you want you can use the one I did on the spot here:
    http://www.leechon.com/videodawah-424.htm

You need a “bad-guy” and “good-guy” who knock heads a couple times w/ the good guy coming out on top in the end. As Rami said, “JUST DO IT!”

  4. Shirien Says:

    I didn’t know Eid submitted FFF… interesting..

  5. AlBaraa Says:

Well..I kinda submitted it for him :-)

  6. Faisal Tabassum Says:

“Well..I kinda submitted it for him :-)

    lol that makes more sense.

Obviously I cant submit, but its ok. I liked the last one as I’d head the story earlier. Masha’allah, it makes you think, if you were in that position would you risk your life to help another person who wasn’t Muslim? Because surely you’d want that help if you were in that position…

I pray Allah protects us all from this, as his protection is enough. May he also reward our brother who defended Islam.

  8. Fatma Says:
