Or maybe even AlMaghrib buttons? Perhaps Qabeelat Durbah?
Just some ideas

Wow, brother...
Very very organized and goal-oriented I see...
This is definitely an awesome thing for you to do...Ihsaan all the way! :)
by the way, I think the progress bar is a good idea for the e-mail subscribers thing...
It kind of has an effect on someone when they see you have a goal and they watch it steadily increase.
Keep it up InshaAllah...

@ AbooZaid,

Actually, make that six mission-critical items (I forgot one, updated it just now). The way I've laid it out is every month, two are to be completed and progress should be continuous on the other. In a way I'm working on any one of them in a single period of time, but completion is relative to the time allotted.

As for raising the bar - lol, I guess you can say addicted. One thing is for sure, I've come to a point where the only way to really raise the bar is to truly systematize parts of the business.

@ MR,

I do intend to. Understand that feed subscribers are passive people. Only ~600 of them actually read the posts, out of which, hardly any come to the website. One of the things I'm thinking is to use SEO and some JV list sharing to build the list inshaAllah.

I'm thinking, once the site is redesigned in the next 30-days, put up a progress meter that will count down to how many email addys have been accumulated thus far.

Do share any other thoughts you may have :)

According to your "feed counter", you have "19797 feed subscribers," why don't you get them to sign up with their email addresses. Common sense tells me you'll get at least 10-15% which is a few hundred.

This aspect of your blog continues to intrigue and challenge me. Five mission criticals for one quarter of work? I guess I should know not to expect less. Normally the "shoulds" are fewer than the "musts," but I think you're addicted to raising the bar mashallaah. Thanks again for sharing this. May Allah give you strength and success.
