What Dreams May Become
|
|
Reading time: 2 – 2 minutes

I dare you to dream bigger dreams.
I’d be scared for you if you did is slow.
How loud can you make your ambition scream?
For how long can your momentum flow?
They’ll damn you if you do and they’ll damn you if you don’t.
The only way out is to free yourself from their opinion.
Take your time and make it count.
Humble yourself to the only with with ultimate dominion.
It is only He who can grant us our greatest peace.
If only we dared to dream biggest dream.
Entry through the greatest of gates.
To ultimate tranquility.
In light of Seth Godin’s post “Like a dream come true” I wrote the above…poem…if that’s what you want to call it
– –

- Develop an online learning system for new Muslim converts where they can go from A – Z and be up to speed on what they need to know to be totally functional in their deen.
- Produce a movie guerilla style for under $30,000 starring local youth.

The poem rocks Belal. Line two is the only one that doesn’t ring with me. Is there possibly a typo there? As far as your ideas, the online learning for converts would be dear to my heart. It would need to have a stamp of authenticity to it, a parent brand that makes people feel confident like AlMaghrib or Arees.

mashaAllah, beautiful words brother Belal.
Do you write poetry as a hobby?
(Also, I’ve been meaning to ask you, do you know a brother named Niraan Umarally?
(he’s my brother-in-law’s brother))

Jawad,
Poetry as a hobby? nope – I just wrote it on the fly.
I know Niraan. We went to school together. He was a couple years senior to me. Great guy MashaAllah, oh and can play ball.
